Local MP Visit

Today we were visited by Fleur Anderson, our local MP. She met with  students and staff and had a tour of the school.

Fleur has been an advocate for the visually impaired in parliament. She has discussed access for the visually impaired with ministers and, in particular, she has highlighted the difficulties that the closing of  ticket offices in train stations will cause.  Fleur is keen to continue her relationship with the school and has invited our children and young people to visit parliament so that they can become ambassadors for visually impaired children and those with additional needs.
