The following are links to National and Wandsworth services. If you require support to identify and access specialist services in your local area, please contact your child’s Class Teacher, Head of Department or local Social Care team who will be able to signpost you.

In an emergency

If you are worried about your immediate safety or have thoughts about hurting yourself or other people:

  • Call 999 for emergency services or go to your nearest Accident and Emergency (A&E) department.
  • Speak to your GP (family doctor).

National IAPT – Improvising Access to Psychological Therapies

If you live in England and are aged 18 or over, you can access NHS psychological therapies (IAPT) services. IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) services offer:

  • talking therapies, such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), counselling, other therapies, and guided self-help

  • help for common mental health problems, like anxiety and depression
