Sports Premium

The Department for Education has allocated Sport Premium funding to Linden Lodge. It is funding to be used exclusively for Physical Education and School Sport; more specifically, to enhance our current provision for primary aged pupils. As partner school of Southfields Academy we co-lead the Project Ability network for Central London, and enjoy the status of being recognised by the Youth Sport Trust as being one of their fifty trail blazing hub sites.

PE and Sports Grant 2016-17
This grant has been used to ensure all pupils have access to a varied and challenging sports
curriculum, for example we purchased hoists to enable all pupils to equally participate.
This year we expect to receive £3,421. We plan to spend it on equipment our outdoor facilities and
playground equipment to extend pupils’ participation and engagement. A proportion will be spent
on upgrading the physical surfaces in the Sensory Garden which develops pupils’ mobility and

  • 16th November 2017: Adapted Rowing (Apogee Centre, Linden Lodge School)
  • 22nd November 2017: Inclusive PE Training Course for PE Teachers (Southfields Academy)
  • 6th December 2017: Wandsworth Para Swimming Gala (Balham Leisure Centre)
